Asian Trekking has a long history of giving back. From the very beginning, Ang Tshering knew that his opportunity had come due to the school that Edmond Hillary had founded. With that in mind, Ang Tshering has always given back to his mountain community. Many people from the Asian Trekking team are hired from that locale to support their economy. This is their region and their mountains so they are also the best people for the job!
ENVIRONMENT
Our commitment to the conservation of our mountain environment and communities is illustrated through the many local projects we have facilitated to raise awareness about environmental protection and climate change resilience. Our acclaimed Eco Everest Expeditions have cleaned more than 25,000 kg of rubbish from the slopes of Everest since 2008.
